ABOUT JJX

JJX is an uncompromising alternative rock band from Philadelphia, PA whose genre bending sound and energetic live shows have hooked audiences across the nation. The JJX sound is an addictive fusion that blurs the lines between rock, funk, blues, and metal, forging a raw, soul-driving sound anchored by guitar virtuoso Joe Jordan, and complemented by phenom Barbara Duncan on drums and rhythm doctor Dan Halma on bass, Since its’ inception in 2007 the band has had the privilege of working alongside a myriad of acclaimed artists including Living Colour, Erykah Badu, Eric Gales, Angelo Moore of Fishbone, Akrobatik, and The Memorials. In 2012, JJX released their debut EP “Twisted Visions”.JJX has toured and appeared at premier events and festivals including Juneteenth Fest, Utah Arts Fest , Sundance Film Fest, Freedomfest, AfroPunk Fest, Liberty Music Fest,, CBGB Festival and SXSW 2015. In 2016, JJX released a new album - “Thirst” - on Artists First Records.
